When words fail...

...music speaks.
If you like that quote, you can stop by Milano's and pick up a sweet magnet with that precious gem on it.
This is my shout out to the LMM ladies.
Today, I am grateful for music.
I was able to go the Tempe Institute Choir Christmas Fireside tonight with some friends. Afterwards, we went to the temple lights. After walking around for a bit, and losing a few, the four of us that were left found a spot to sit and started singing Christmas hymns. It was a really neat experierence, I thought. Can I just say that music brings the Spirit in a very special way? I felt it all night, from listening to the choir to trying to pick out harmonies with some friends.
I love music. I work at a music store for crying out loud. And. I. Love. It. I love when people come in and play on the instruments downstairs or when people try out music in the studios. I love blasting music in my car and singing at the top of my lungs. Just ask my friends. I love sitting next to my sister on Sundays and singing different parts with her. I love accompanying choirs and other musicians. I love messing around on the piano and playing new pieces.
Music is one of the greatest blessings in my life. It has the ability to change my attitude and my feelings. And as cheesy as that quote is, when words fail, music really does speak.

  1. Agreed. You know that quote "Music is life?" Yeah, sometimes it really is. And right now, Spencer is singing along with magic and dancing like crazy. I found it funny.
